About Nourish:

Nourish Pierce County is a nonprofit organization providing food and emergency service referrals to people in need since 1973.  Our mission is to provide food for people in need with compassion, dignity, and respect.  With six food bank locations and two mobile food banks serving fifteen additional sites, Nourish serves more than 57,000 individuals totaling more than 370,000 visits each year.  With the assistance of hundreds of volunteers, our goal is to provide each person or family with enough food to make three nutritious meals a day for three days. All Nourish Food Banks operate on a self-serve model, allowing clients to select the foods that best meet their family’s needs.  Clients are asked to limit their visits to once a week, but no one in need is turned away.
